I'm going to kindergarten today to let you know how much fun it is.
School is a place where many kids come to learn together and sing together.
♪Old MacDonald had a farm♪ Eat together, and play together.

Are you ready?
Are you ready to learn?
One of my favorite ways to learn is with a song.
And there are plenty of songs that can help us get ready to learn.
How about a song about brushing your teeth?
That's something you should do to get ready for school.
Do you like to brush your teeth?
I like to brush my teeth.
And the kids in this song like to brush their teeth, too.

Others come to school in a bus.
And some kids ride to school in their parents' car.
If you ride in a car, there's something you should always remember.
Wear your seatbelt.
That's a good idea.
We should all wear our seatbelt.
I have a friend named Buddy.
He's a teddy bear, but you know, even he wears his seatbelt.

Well, I know a song that will help us learn a lot more about triangles, circles, and squares.

Lunch time!
(Mr. Chuck) I like lunch time because you get to sit with all the other children and talk and eat together.
Today, we're having hamburgers.
They're my favorite.
What's your favorite food?
My favorite food is pepperoni pizza.
My favorite food is spaghetti.
I like spaghetti because the noodles are good and the sauce is good, also.
My favorite food is shrimp.
My favorite food in the whole wide world is hamburgers and pizza.
Um, my favorite food is Chucky fried chicken and I like the dip.
My chicken nuggets in the dip and the gravy, that's so yummy.
My favorite food is my Bubby's tuna noodle casserole.
My favorite food is cantaloupe, um, hot dogs and drum sticks.
[slurping sounds] Drumsticks.
My favorite food is pizza.
I like cheese the best, and I like pepperoni and sausage.
♪♪♪ (Mr. Chuck) Shhhh.
It's nap time.
Sometimes you get to take a quiet nap at school.
Once you're all rested, then it's playtime.
[children yelling and laughing] ♪♪♪ Boing, boing, boing ♪♪♪ (Mr. Chuck) It feels good to run and jump and move your body.
I know a good song about moving your body.
Can you walk like an elephant and flap your wings like a bird?
You can?
Then you're ready for Animal Action.
Hey, hey, hey!
♪♪♪ Hey, everybody, let's get ready for Animal Action.
One, two, three, four (Mr. Chuck) Everybody walk ♪♪♪ (Mr. Chuck) Move your feet.
♪♪♪ (Mr. Chuck) That's good.
(Mr. Chuck) Now just do what the animals do.
♪♪♪ (Mr. Chuck) Move your head.
♪♪♪ (Mr. Chuck) Try this.
♪♪♪ (Mr. Chuck) Can you stand on one foot?
♪♪♪ [duck quacking] (Mr. Chuck) Now flap your wings and fly away.
[duck quacking] You know, going to school can be lots of fun.
And you know singing songs is a great way to learn.
I hope you had fun and enjoyed some of the songs we sang today.
And I hope you will have fun and learn a lot when you go to school.
